For over 20 years, the Highway Infrastructure Division of S.W. Weeks Construction Ltd. has completed road rehabilitation work on provincial and federal roadways (NS Transportation & Active Transport & Parks Canada Agency) in northern Nova Scotia and northeastern Cape Breton.
S.W. Weeks Construction utilizes mobile crushing equipment, a mobile asphalt plant along with its fleet of paving and roadbuilding equipment to complete this work throughout these areas of Nova Scotia. The quality of the work completed is highly regarded with the highway paving crew winning the inaugural “Blair Morrow Paver of the Year” award from NS Asphalt User Producer Association.
In addition to paving work, we also complete full road reconstruction work included but not limited to subgrade & drainage construction, small and large culvert installation, precast box culverts and open bottom arches, cold planing or pulverization of asphalt surfaces, grading, placing and compaction of gravels in preparation for paving. We have also constructed several roundabouts within northern NS.

- Repaving of Hwy 104 EBL – Exit 20 to Exit 21, Pictou County (NSTIR)
- Rehabilitation of Trunk 4 – Salt Springs to Mt. Thom (NSTIR)
